Scored learning

Example available
A learning Scenario can use number variables, actions, and outcome rules to score selected decisions or resolve to different endings. Cynario supports that underlying logic without claiming a built-in course progression or competitive training platform.

Example: “Improve your phishing-triage score”

Who it's for

For teams that want responsive practice

L&D and training teams

Add a transparent score or state-based ending when it helps explain the decisions being practiced.

Instructional designers

Use the same Scenario graph for narrative, rules, feedback, and replay.

Team leads running practice

Give participants a Scenario they can replay and discuss without promising a managed competition system.

Example scenario shapes

What scored learning looks like in Cynario

Outputs can run actions that change Scenario variables. Outcome rules can then select an ending from the accumulated state in that playthrough.

Improve a decision score

Add or subtract points for selected responses, then explain how the final score reflects the path taken.

Replay another route

Run the same Scenario again, choose different responses, and compare how the ending changes.

State-based endings

Resolve to different debriefs from the state accumulated across several decisions rather than the final click alone.

Why training teams use it

Logic that responds to the whole path

  • Variables make the effect of earlier decisions available to later Scenes and outcomes.
  • Outcome rules can select a tailored debrief from the final Scenario state.
  • The bundled logic example demonstrates scoring, conditional paths, and state-based endings.
  • Cynario does not include a built-in leaderboard, managed cohorts, or course progression.
