Safety & field drills

Supported now
A playable Scenario can supplement hands-on safety training by rehearsing the calls, routes, and handoffs people may face. It is a discussion and practice tool, not a replacement for site-specific instruction or a real drill.

Example: “Evacuation decision drill”

Who it's for

For the people who prepare teams for emergencies

EHS & safety officers

Use branching practice between hands-on drills to revisit procedures and decision points.

Facilities & site leads

Model building-specific situations while keeping the authoritative route and procedure in the real safety plan.

Field & frontline teams

Practice the first calls and handoffs in a fictional incident before applying the real procedure.

Example scenario shapes

What a safety Scenario looks like in Cynario

Each branch represents a choice in a fictional situation. Feedback can explain the preferred procedure, and replay can explore another response.

Evacuation decision drill

The alarm sounds. Choose a response, compare it with the site procedure, and explore what the Scenario presents next.

The first two minutes

Practice the initial sequence for a fictional spill, fall, or fire without claiming to simulate the physical event.

Make the emergency call

Rehearse what information to communicate and in what order, then point back to the organization’s real emergency guidance.

Why safety teams use it

Low-stakes practice for procedural decisions

  • Replay supports discussion of more than one response to the same fictional incident.
  • Site-specific copy and media can be added by the people who know the real procedure.
  • The Scenario can be exported for controlled distribution when appropriate.
  • Availability still depends on the browser, device, local assets, and any sharing method the facilitator chooses.
